US Supercharge provides two main types of EV charging solutions:
Click on top left menu bars and then click on the + sign next to payment to add your debit or credit card..
OR
Click on the location icon, select the EVSE plug ID you are going to use. There will be a drop down arrow toward the bottom right of the screen. Click on the arrow to add payment methods.
You can add your credit or debit card and charging will be charged directly to your card. Or you can opt to buy a top up balance and hold $50, $100, $250 balance in the app and use at your convenience. This will minimize the number of credit card transactions for regular users.

Exit your vehicle and plug in your EV with out causing too much delay!
If you have trouble adding your phone number, do this:
Touch the Flag to the left of the phone number field to open the Country drop down list to reset the Country code. A drop down list will open with all the different Countries listed. Select the USA flag from the drop down list. A +1 will be added to the beginning of the phone number field and you will be able to add your phone number to your user account.
The Charger Plug does not lock to the Vehicle. The Vehicle locks to the Charging Plug.
On a Tesla, open the app on your phone, hit the lightening bolt and then click unlock charge port. Or go on the Tesla screen in the vehicle and hit the unlock charge port button in the car.
Other EV's open you can either unlock in your app or on your vehicle screen. Check with your manufacturer user manual. Also try making sure the vehicle is unlocked.
Yes, when you end your charging session a receipt will be emailed to the email you entered when you singed up for the app. Your email with us is located in your profile.

EV Charging is charged both a Sales Tax as well as a Gross Receipts Tax by the government. Each city can also levy their own municipal taxes, therefore each zip code might have a unique tax rate. Here are the breakdowns for the total taxes incurred:
Sales Tax base rate : 7%
Gross Receipts Tax rate: 2.638%
