 US Supercharge provides two main types of EV charging solutions:

• Level 2 Destination Charging – Ideal for multi-family properties and hotels. These chargers typically take 3–6 hours to fully charge an electric vehicle, making them perfect for overnight or extended stays.
• Level 3 Supercharging – Designed for public locations such as shopping malls and gas stations. These fast chargers typically take 10–30 minutes to fully charge an EV, allowing drivers to recharge quickly while on the go.

Click on top left menu bars and then click on the + sign next to payment to add your debit or credit card..   

OR

Click on the location icon, select the EVSE plug ID you are going to use.  There will be a drop down arrow toward the bottom right of the screen.   Click on the arrow to add payment methods.   

You can add your credit or debit card and charging will be charged directly to your card.  Or you can opt to buy a top up balance and hold $50, $100, $250 balance in the app and use at your convenience.  This will minimize the number of credit card transactions for regular users. 

 Get Prepared.

1. Make sure your Payment Method(s) are added.
2. Plug in your EV and Start the Charger with out causing too much delay!

First Option to Start Charging:

1. Click on the US Supercharge red, green and blue flux capacitor icon on the map.
2. Swipe up to open the Charging Location.
3. Select the matching Destination Charger that you intend to use.
4. Click on the BLUE Start Charging button to Start.

Second Option to Start Charging:

1. Touch the screen saver on the Charger to open the Home Screen, 
2. Scan the QR Code displayed on the Home Screen using the QR Code Reader in the app.  
3. Click on the BLUE Start Charging button.

Get Prepared.

1. Download the US Supercharge app.
2. Make sure your Payment Method(s) are added.

Start Charging from inside your EV:

1. Open the US Supercharge app.
2. Click on the map icon on the bottom left of the task bar.
3. Click on the US Supercharge red, green and blue flux capacitor icon on the map.
4. The location will pop up, swipe up to open the location and see the Chargers.
5. Select the matching Charger that you intend to use.
6. Click on the BLUE Start Charging button to Start.

Exit your vehicle and plug in your EV with out causing too much delay! 

 If you have trouble adding your phone number, do this:  
Touch the Flag to the left of the phone number field to open the Country drop down list to reset the Country code.  A drop down list will open with all the different Countries listed.  Select the USA flag from the drop down list.  A +1 will be added to the beginning of the phone number field and you will be able to add your phone number to your user account.

 The Charger Plug does not lock to the Vehicle.  The Vehicle locks to the Charging Plug.  

On a Tesla, open the app on your phone, hit the lightening bolt and then click unlock charge port.  Or go on the Tesla screen in the vehicle and hit the unlock charge port button in the car.  

Other EV's open you can either unlock in your app or on your vehicle screen.   Check with your manufacturer user manual.  Also try making sure the vehicle is unlocked.   

 Yes, when you end your charging session a receipt will be emailed to the email you entered when you singed up for the app.  Your email with us is located in your profile.

EV Charging is charged both a Sales Tax as well as a Gross Receipts Tax by the government. Each city can also levy their own municipal taxes, therefore each zip code might have a unique tax rate. Here are the breakdowns for the total taxes incurred:

Sales Tax base rate : 7%
Gross Receipts Tax rate: 2.638% 

1. If your charging session does not automatically start, first put the plug back into the holster on the kiosk!
2. Close down your US Supercharge app completely, close down other apps as well
3. Close down your vehicle app, if applicable
4. Re-open your US Supercharge app
5. Navigate to the charging station via the map on the app
6. Start your charging session by clicking on the appropriate plug location you are trying to use
7. Click SHOW
8. Scroll down and click START CHARGING
